Worry does us no good at all and yet most of us do worry. Jesus tells us not to worry.
Matthew 6:27-29
27 And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?[a] 28 And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.
We need to do as Martin Luther says: “Pray and let God worry.”
Gracious Lord, remind us to turn out worries over to you and then let them go. AMEN

It is so easy to remain silent. Too often we are with people that we like a someone says something that we violently disagree with. It is much easier to remain silent than to cause an upheaval. But silence can be damning. It reflects back onto us. There are times when we must speak up. If we don’t nip the evil ideas in the bud they grow to proportions that we cannot stop. Speak up!
